The pool is open ONLY when a lifeguard is on duty.

• The lifeguard must be obeyed at all times and has the authority to address inappropriate or disorderly conduct and to restrict pool privileges to anyone in violation of the POOL RULES.

• Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted in the pool area.

• Smoking is NOT permitted in the pool area. Inside the pool area is a smoke free environment.

• Glass bottles or glass containers of any kind are NOT permitted in the pool area.

• There is a “pool grill” for homeowners to use. Please clean up after each use. Be sure to clean the grease pan as well.  Notify the management company if the propane tank is empty. No outside barbecue grills or cooking devices are allowed at the pool.

 

1. All residents must check in with the lifeguard upon entering and sign the pool log when using the pool.

2. A responsible adult must accompany children under the age of 14. If a child is not accompanied, the lifeguard will ask the child to leave the pool.

3. Children under the age of twelve (12) years will be required to pass a swimming test administered by the lifeguard before being permitted to swim unaccompanied in the deep end of the pool.

4. Non-toilet trained children must wear appropriate tight fitting plastic/rubber pants, without diapers, in the pool.

5. Running, playing tag, ball playing of any kind, diving, jumping into the pool, horseplay, and unnecessary noise or other behavior which annoys or endangers other pool users is NOT permitted at any time.

6. Earphones are required for the use of any personal audio equipment.

7. Rafts, floats, scuba or snorkel equipment are permitted at the lifeguard’s discretion based on pool occupancy.

8. Children requiring swimming aides must be attended by a parent or guardian in the pool at all times.

9. NYS Department of Health requires that all individuals shower before entering the pool.

10. Individuals with infections or open wounds are NOT permitted in the pool.

11. Only swimsuits are to be worn in the pool. Shorts or cut-off pants are not permitted.

12. Pets are NOT permitted in the pool area at any time.

Inclement Weather

The pool must be cleared of all bathers under the following conditions:

- Thunderstorms:

• All individuals are to return to their homes or remain inside the Clubhouse, away from the pool area until otherwise allowed to return.

• Stay away from the open areas around or inside the tennis courts.

• Stay away from metal pipes, railings, umbrellas and tables/chairs.

 

- Heavy Rain:

• All guests are instructed to leave the pool.
