Water Shut-Off Locations

It is important to know where your water shut-off valve is located in the event of an emergency. Each unit has its own individual shut-off valve and there is also a building shut-off valve that will turn off the water for the entire building.

  • If you live in a first floor unit, you should have your unit water shut-off valve in your basement/crawl space ceiling.

  • If you live on the 2nd floor, your water shut-off valve is located in the basement/crawl space of the unit below you. If you need to have the water shut off to your unit, you will need to coordinate with your neighbor. If you cannot locate the valve or have an emergency, contact WPMG. The emergency number is  (914) 742-2874.
